  Matthew A. Clemons is the Director of Eco-Heritage Tours for Manatee Safaris and owner of the Florida Kayak Company. After a 17 year career serving with several State of Florida conservation agencies, Matt has rejoined the private sector with his position at Manatee Safaris. Matt has served the State as a manatee research biologist and marine mammal specialist, as well as manager of the largest preserve complex in the state of Florida.

  Matt was appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and served on Citrus County's Ecotourism Committee, which was charged with developing a viable ecotourism program within the county.
  The Committee developed a certification program for Eco-Heritage Guides and Matt instructed a section of that program entitled Outdoor Ethics and Sustainability.
  Matt now brings his expertise and those values to the Eco-Heritage tours offered through the Florida Kayak Company in conjunction with Manatee Safaris.
